**Your new company**
Hays is seeking a Learning and Development Officer to join a State Government Department on a temporary basis for up to twelve months. Offices are based in Brisbane CBD with flexible work arrangements available.

**Your new role**
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Administering the performance management system including user management, periodic reports and follow up of outstanding actions
- Scheduling and monitoring training including room bookings and set up, calendar invitations to facilitators and participants and set up in LMS (ELMO experience desirable)
- Providing training course support including organisation of materials and equipment, catering and recording of attendance
- Coordinating the approval and booking of external training requests
- Analysing new starter forms and update skills matrix
- Co-ordinating various programs such as Graduate events, coaching program and secondments
- Maintaining L&D SharePoint site and supporting marketing L&D events
- Coordinating new supplier set up, purchase orders and processing payment of invoices
- Maintaining training records in LMS and other support systems e.g. SharePoint
- Monitoring and managing the L&D Inbox responding to or escalating requests in a timely manner.
- Processing and monitor progress of study assistance applicants
- Liaising with external suppliers to provide products and services, coordinating quotes and payment
- Supporting the planning, update and release of eLearning compliance modules including reporting and follow up for mandatory training
- Update existing eLearning modules into new format (Articulate experience desirable)
- Research and develop eLearning solutions with support from L&D Advisor and L&D Manager
- Set up and distribute Compliance eLearning
- Create Process Maps for all L&D processes
- Contribute and support the internal social media campaigns
- Support the updating of training materials as required

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Qualifications in human resources or training and/or demonstrated relevant experience
- Extensive office administration experience relevant to the role
- Learning Management Systems experience (ELMO experience desirable)
