**The Department**

The SBS Media sales team is driven by a culture of continuous improvement. We are looking for a State Sales Manager to deliver business outcomes and implement SBS Media's sales strategy across our Western Australia region.

**The Role**

Reporting into the National Sales Manager, Media Sales this role will see you doing the following:

- Achieve annual and quarterly revenue budgets as set by divisional head.
- Manage and develop the Perth based advertising sales team.
- Build and maintain key relationships within the Perth advertising market.
- Achieve quarterly KPIs agreed with direct line manager.
- Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic understanding of SBS’s Charter, Purpose and Values and a commitment to a safe, secure and diverse workplace.
- Role model SBS' values and develop a positive, business-focused culture

**About you**
- Demonstrated capability as a highly constructive people leader who is passionate about team development and growth
- Solid experience working as a Sales Manager (or similar) within the media industry
- Strong established relationships with media agencies and record of consistent over-achievement of sales targets
- Strong digital media knowledge and practical experience
- Proven experience in leading and coaching teams to deliver results with a focus on innovation, partnership and collaboration
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to positively influence outcomes
- Experience in selling and implementing major event partnerships a plus
