This Department based in Adelaide is seeking an APS5 level professional to join their team for an 18-month non-ongoing position. This is a unique opportunity to join one of Australia's most integral Department’s and contribute to the important work that they do supporting the security, regulation, and enforcement of Australian’s largest assets by contributing to the stability and integrity of the industry.

**Your new role**

In this dynamic role, your primary responsibility will be the day-to-day management of the internal intranet. This involves creating and writing engaging and informative content, ensuring the site is up-to-date and user-friendly, and addressing any issues as they arise.

Beyond the intranet, you'll also be writing and distributing newsletters, coordinating various events, and producing videos. You will have a creative flair with a knack for communicating complex ideas in clear, engaging ways.

You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team and will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Australian citizenship: As this position is within the Federal Government, it is a mandatory requirement to be an Australian citizen.
- Strong content creation skills: Your ability to generate compelling and engaging content for various platforms, such as websites, video, and publications, will be essential.
- Excellent writing abilities: You have exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to adapt your writing style to different audiences and formats.
- Exceptional organisation skills: You will have demonstrated capabilities in end-to-end event management. Possessing the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Collaborative approach: You are a team player who can effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to achieve shared communication objectives.
- Technical capabilities: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially in video production and previous experience managing an intranet or similar platform.
