**Your new role**

As an APS5 and 6 Communications professional, you will be responsible for supporting the communications team in the delivery and management of project and corporate communications. You will develop key messages, write various communications, edit drafts, secure approvals and disseminate communications across relevant channels. You will also provide communications advice to internal clients and Senior Executives on effective communication strategies that support complex internal issues.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- A tertiary qualification in communications, journalism, public relations or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in internal and external communications in a government or corporate environment
- The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to write in a clear, concise and engaging manner for different audiences and purposes
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet competing deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical information and translate it into plain English
- A positive attitude, a proactive approach and a strong team spirit
- You must be able to obtain and hold a Baseline security clearance
- You must be an Australian Citizen to be considered for these roles
