**The Role**

As a site-based WHS Advisor your responsibilities will include:

- Providing guidance on appropriate management of risks, hazards & unsafe behaviours & conditions
- Engaging with the supervisors to support and adapt safe work practices
- Spend time in the field coaching the team on various MFG programs
- Ensuring WHS performance is tracked, measured, analysed & reported
- Manage delivery of site orientations & other non-accredited WHS training (as part of internal WHSE systems)
- Conduct & facilitate WHS audits & inspections in accordance with the approved audit schedule
- Champion MFG's Critical Risk Programme
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Cert 4 or equivalent in WHS
- Demonstrated competency in a Civil/Construction environment
- Thorough knowledge of WHS legislation
- Self-motivated and hard-working with an eagerness to do the job to the best possible standard, with proven skills in organisational safety and business transformation
- Adaptable to new technology as MFG strives to go paperless
