We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for an experienced General Manager / SSE at the highly regarded Foxleigh Coal Mine **(“Foxleigh”** ). Foxleigh is structured as an unincorporated joint venture with interests held by QMetco Limited a (70% interest) Nippon Steel Australia Pty Ltd a (10% interest) and POSCO Australia Pty Ltd a (20% interest). Foxleigh Management Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of QMetco is the appointed Operator of Foxleigh.

This is a pivotal time to contribute as Foxleigh transitions into a phase focused on growth and operational excellence, following the appointment of a new and highly respected CEO.

**Role Summary**:
As the General Manager / SSE, you will take the helm of this currently 3 million tonne per annum PCI open pit coal operation, driving the strategic direction and overseeing all facets of the mine. This role involves direct management of operations and personnel, ensuring compliance and overall statutory responsibility for the mine’s performance. We value commitment and hands-on leadership, offering flexibility to accommodate family and personal commitments for those prepared to be predominantly on-site.

**Key Qualifications and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualification in a mining-related discipline.
- Significant operational management experience.
- Current SSE certification, or the ability to obtain it promptly.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a strong, values-driven culture with the energy and drive to effect meaningful change.
