Our Finance, Risk & Payroll team are on the lookout for a Financial Systems Analyst to join their close-knit team.
About the role
The Finance unit is seeking a motivated, analytical and experienced Financial Systems Analyst to manage and maintain POV's enterprise planning resource (ERP) systems.
In this role, you will drive the implementation and maintenance of financial management systems such as Oracle in consultation with various stakeholders, as well as perform regular reporting by creating and maintaining system reports.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Work with the Financial Systems Support Officer in addressing end user queries, in particular with the procurement and expenses modules.
- Coordinate the testing of Parliament's ERP patch updates within the finance team, ensuring all business critical processes are reviewed and any issues identified are addressed in a timely manner.
- Review new features available in Parliament's ERP patch update and identify which updates will be suitable for Parliament.
- Create and maintain system reports, such as OTBI used within the finance team.
- Perform regular reporting over user access and approval workflows within Parliament's ERP and associated reporting systems.
- Assist with maintaining the ERP general ledger, ensuring that any new accounts or cost centres created are populated across all relevant systems.

About you

**To succeed in this role, you will bring**:

- Demonstrated experience with the implementation and maintenance of large financial management systems, such as Oracle with an ability to learn new processes quickly and implement system changes.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to interpret relevant facts and provide authoritative advice to clients with an attention to detail.
- Strong organisational, time management, interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to advise and consult effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Proven ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision and contribute constructively as a member of a team.
