**Your part in The Wesley Hospital team**
- Responsible for pre-admissions and admissions, you will provide an exceptional level of customer service to patients and family members. Accurately processing all admissions in a timely and efficient manner and ensuring all patients have financially consented to care, you will also:
- Respond to patients, visitors, specialists and other staff in a courteous and helpful manner
- Process all preadmission registrations and documentation via HABS
- Liaise with relevant services providers to seek approval documents for admission
- Provide estimates for hospitalisation costs in line with the hospital’s fees and charges
- Complete health fund checks
- Receipt all payments and balance on a daily basis
- Be the first point of contact for escalation as Team Leader
**What makes a difference for us?**
- You will need:
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Able to work 10-12-hour shifts
- Able to work night shift on rotation
- Previous hospital, emergency centre or medical centre administration experience preferable
- Previous team leader experience
- Understanding of Private Health Insurance and Health Fund Eligibility (Desirable)
