This global freight forwarder is keen to add to their already impressive operations team located in Botany. There is a rotating weekend roster with paid overtime.
**To be considered for this role you must possess hands-on experience in import air freight forwarding operations in the Australian market.**

**The role**:

- Monitor cargo availability and status
- Coordinate airport retrievals to bond store including check-in
- Report damage and surplus cargo
- Cargo automation
- Process documentation handovers and deliveries
- Finalise job invoices and costs
- Attend training courses and meetings as required
- Liaising with airlines, freight forwarders, overseas offices, customers, suppliers and internal staff
- Rotating weekend roster with paid overtime

**The person**:

- Import air operations experience within freight forwarding environment
- Willingness to commit to paid overtime work roster
- Proficiency with IT systems including MS Office
- Efficient data entry skills - speed and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Positive and professional customer service skills
- Team player with high degree of integrity and dependability
