**Position overview**:
A full-time **Warehouse Operator** role has become available at our **Botany **site. It is a position that offers progression, both in wages and job grade, as the person becomes more skilled in our processes. **Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager the successful applicant will be required to undertake a range of activities including:

- Adherence to all safety processes and procedures
- Picking and packing
- Unpacking Import Containers
- Packing Export Containers (Certification required)
- Loading and unloading Trucks/ Road Tankers
- Transferring bulk storage RM
- Housekeeping including 5S
- Observe and promote SHEQ
- Gatehouse operation
- Provide samples for quality testing
- Filling IBCs for production use
- Repacking of products
- Participate in Stock takes/Cycle counts
- Heavy lifting, up to 25 kg

**Required skills and experience**:
To be successful in this role you will have:

- High regard/strong commitment to SHEQ & Customer Service
- Experience in similar environment preferred (exposure to WH&D, Stores, Customer Service, Production activities, Experience with current Warehouse management systems and technology)
- Forklift license
- High initiative and proactive with good rapport and ability to work with multi-functions
- Exposure to Manual Handling
- Lean knowledge and implementation advantageous
- Dangerous Goods knowledge advantageous
- Good Microsoft Office knowledge, experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX or SAP ERP would be advantages

**Qualifications**:

- High school or above
- Certification or experience in complying with dangerous goods regulations and hazardous materials storage preferred but not essential.
