**Our Opportunity**:
We currently have a fixed term full time opportunity (until September 2025) for a Workplace Relations Lead - Strategic Partnering. This period partially covers a parental leave absence.

This role focuses on partnering with key business leaders to achieve their desired strategic and operational outcomes. While the role is very much customer lead, your expertise will be relied upon by the business leaders in shaping their vision.

During your time in the role you will likely be working on the following projects and initiatives:

- Implementation of the Aged Care Industry Work Value case, including consideration of classification and wage impacts, relationship to enterprise agreements, and government funding implications
- Contributing to a peak employer response to the Nurses Work Value Case and the gender under-evaluation priority awards case relating to the Health Professionals and Support Services Award, and dependent on timing, implementing FWC decisions
- In conjunction with the Practice Lead of Strategic Partnering team and the Head of Workplace Relations, planning for future enterprise bargaining including working with systems teams to understand implications of proposed terms in the pay and time and attendance systems.
- Consolidation of employing entities and various transfer of employment / business matters, including a divestment and activities related to the integration of an acquired business

Additionally, business as usual responsibilities will include assessing and advising on risks and obligations relating to major change initiatives and union management, including convening consultative committees.

**About You**:
To be successful in the role you will have the following experience:

- Considerable experience in an autonomous workplace relations role
- Considerable experience in enterprise bargaining, including strategy development
- Considerable experience in union management
- Experience in tribunal advocacy
- Experience in managing large sets of employee data in Excel to complete analytical tasks.
- Experience in working closely with systems teams to configure systems to obligations in industrial instruments.

Ideally you will have:

- Relevant post graduate qualifications in industrial relations or law

Experience in the Aged Care and/or Health sector
