As our fund continues to grow & evolve into the future, we are looking for a passionate & accountable Workplace Relations Specialist to join our People & Culture team. You will work alongside the Workplace Relations Lead to balance HESTA's workplace obligations and priorities by creating an environment that enables employees to thrive.
In this detail-oriented & hands-on role, your day will see you:
- Contribute to building a positive workplace culture through best practice employee relations practices and frameworks
- Drive the capability development of leaders through coaching & guidance on people management matters.
- Conduct thorough workplace investigations & provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters
- Partner with our People & Culture Business Partners to deliver effective IR/ER solutions
- Prepare & maintain compliance reporting & analytics
- Own the governance, compliance & continuous improvement of workplace policies & procedures
About you:
- Strong knowledge of employment law & IR/ER frameworks
- Demonstrated and excellent investigation & problem-solving skills
- Consistently delivers with personal ownership
- Superior written & verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to manage a range of diverse stakeholders
- Experience in policy development & implementation
