Our warm and welcoming family in Elanora Heights is seeking a reliable, caring, and experienced housekeeper nanny to support their household and three children. Having recently returned to Sydney after living abroad for seven years, the family is excited to settle back into their home and welcome someone who can provide both practical support and nurturing care. This is a wonderful opportunity for a professional who enjoys balancing childcare with household management in a friendly, active environment.

Day-to-day responsibilities combine childcare with household management. Mornings begin with school drop-offs, followed by home tasks such as tidying, laundry, dishwasher, changing beds once a week, and general cleaning to ensure the home runs smoothly. Afternoons focus on school pick-ups, preparing healthy snacks or dinners, supporting homework and reading, and engaging the children in fun, age-appropriate activities. Additional duties include running errands for the family and caring for the family cat.

Life in this household is centered around an active, outdoor lifestyle with beach outings, music, cooking, and travel. The family is seeking someone who shares these values and who can bring a calm, caring, and proactive approach into the home. With a parent often travelling for work, there may be occasions where extra support is needed beyond the usual three days per week.

The ideal nanny will be warm, organised, and dependable; someone who can nurture the children while also creating structure and ease in the family’s daily routine.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:

- Providing safe, nurturing care for three children
- School drop-offs/pick-ups and transport to activities
- Supporting homework and creative play
- Preparing snacks and light meals for the children
- General household support: tidying, laundry, dishwashing, bed changes
- Running errands for the children/family as needed
- Caring for the family cat (feeding and litter)
- Occasional extra hours if parents are travelling

To apply, you MUST have the following experience, attitude, and qualifications:

- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a nanny and in household management
- 2+ child-related references
- National Police Check
- Excellent communication skills and initiative
- Valid Driver’s Licence (own car preferred)
- Confident swimmer for beach/pool activities
- Friendly, warm, reliable, and proactive approach
- Engaged and attentive while working; interested in the children’s learning and development
