Pay: $35-$45 per hour

  • This role does not require driving. However, a driver's license is a bonus. If a car is needed, one can be provided, and parking is available.
  • Whooping cough vaccination preferred
  • One of the children slight superficial allergy to beef, eggs and avocado

Our busy professional work-from-home single mother is relocating back to Sydney from overseas in a few weeks and is seeking a reliable, energetic, and nurturing full-time nanny to care for her 1.5-year-old twins. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience caring for young children, be an excellent communicator with strong time-management skills, maintain high standards of hygiene, and be punctual and organised in managing daily routines. The twins are active and curious, enjoying singing, dancing, and outdoor activities at the park or beach, and the nanny should be able to connect warmly with them, encourage their growth, and support their developmental milestones.

The mother has strong support from the children's grandparents and a domestic helper, while the nanny will take full responsibility for all matters related to the children. This role combines childcare with light child-related household duties, including laundry, tidying, meal preparation, and organising the children's belongings. The nanny will be responsible for preparing fresh, healthy meals and snacks, supporting routines such as nap times, walks, and play sessions, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

The perfect nanny will have the autonomy to manage the children's daily care while respecting the mother's choices and decisions. The family offers a supportive and trusting environment with clear guidance and open communication, enabling the nanny to bring warmth and stability to the children's days while contributing to a harmonious and well-managed household.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Provide safe, nurturing care for twins and support their developmental milestones through play and learning activities
  • Follow daily routines, including nap times, meals, walks, and outdoor activities
  • Prepare fresh, healthy meals and snacks, adhering to dietary requirements
  • Light child-related household tasks, including laundry, tidying, and organising children's belongings
  • Manage children's schedules and maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating environment
  • Connect with children and support their independence
  • Be proactive, flexible, reliable, and punctual
  • Occasionally assist with driving or errands if required

To Apply, You MUST Have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant nanny experience
  • Two professional, child-related references
  • Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current National Police Check
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
