A lovely family located in **Heidelberg Heights** is seeking a caring, responsible and experienced long-term **nanny** to join their household. The role involves caring for two children: a 2.5-year-old and a 8-month-old.

Ongoing days and hours as follow:

- Monday 10am - 1:30pm
- Friday 1pm - 4:30pm

**Requirements**:

- Background in early childhood education or midwifery.
- Local proximity for occasional care on short notice.
- Minimum 25 years of age.
- Confident in cooking and maintaining a clean and tidy house.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide attentive, nurturing, and safe care for two children.
- Manage daily routines, including meals, naps, hygiene, and play.
- Prepare and organise meals and snacks for the children.
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming household environment through regular housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, tidying, organisation).
- Maintain open, respectful, and regular communication with the parents about the children’s needs, development, and schedules.
- Provide flexibility to adapt to changes in routine, including occasional evening babysitting or support on weekends when required.
- Be **25 years of age or older**, with the maturity and life experience to manage both childcare and household responsibilities with confidence and consistency.
- Have a **background in early childhood education or midwifery**.
- **Comfortable balancing childcare responsibilities with household management duties.**:

- Confident driver with a valid driver’s licence.
- **Close proximity for occasional care at short notice.**:

- Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Warm, positive, and engaging personality with excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the family’s needs.
- Highly reliable and consistently punctual, with a strong commitment to showing up when scheduled.
