**The Executive Lead - People and Culture will lead the delivery of the strategic and operational aspects of the People and Culture branch.**

**About the role**:
Located at our Support Centre in Milton and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Lead - People & Culture is responsible for the executive leadership of people and culture strategies to enable Lutheran Services to operate effectively and efficiently. This leadership role will identify and implement initiatives which position Lutheran Services as an employer of choice.

Role accountabilities:

- Lead the People and Culture function, leading strategy development and ensuring effective operational management
- Provide people leadership for a team of 13 professionals providing support across WH&S, Industrial Relations, Generalist HR, Recruitment, Learning & Development Organisational Development.
- Establish and implement innovative and contemporary People and Culture frameworks with a customer-centric approach
- Provide high level advice and support to the Executive Team and Council in relation to all People and Culture matters

**About you**:

- You will have 12+ years of senior managerial experience in a People and Culture team
- Possess a relevant university degree qualification
- Generalist experience across a broad range of Human Resources specialisations
- Demonstrated experience in the ability to work strategically and operationally as required
- Previous experience leading the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans
- Ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders to foster collaborative relationships, resolve complex issues and achieve sustainable outcomes.
- Experience working in a health or not for profit service industry advantageous
- Demonstrated success in leading a multi-disciplinary team to achieve objectives.
