**About The Role**
You’ll join a buzzing coworking hub in Alexandria filled with a huge range of Australian start up businesses to champion our on-site events and business partnerships. This includes internal and external client events and our educational events programme within our beautiful auditorium, Miscreants Café area, meeting room spaces, photography studio and podcast studio. You’ll take charge of managing, promoting and growing sales of all events at Workit Spaces, partnering with corporate and community businesses to run a top level educational events programme for our members and the public.
**In this role you will**:
**Events Sales**
- Managing, promoting and growing sales of all events at Workit Spaces
- Following up inbound events sales leads promptly, taking briefs and upselling facilities and catering
- Client management and customer support - be the go-to person to support delivery of successful events for internal and external clients
- Administrative tasks such as budgeting, contracts and invoicing
- Track sales KPI’s ensuring that targets are being met or exceeded
- Client follow up’s, feedback collection and event rebooking
- Maintain CRM (customer relationship management software)
- Conduct building tours for prospective clients where required
**Business Partnerships**
- Source and build strong corporate and community business partnerships, working with them to deliver an educational events programme which supports growth of our SKUTOPIA product
- Relationship management and regular networking - visiting local businesses to introduce our services available and connecting with large brands to present opportunities
- Working with the marketing and community teams to promote, record (VLOG) and report on the educational events
**Event Management**
- Creation of highly detailed event run sheets, menu’s etc.
- Operational set up and organisation prior, during and post-event - in attendance at all events to answer queries and regularly check in to ensure high standards are kept
- Liaising with the marketing team on event promotions, communications and branding
- Work co-operatively with the Hospitality, Community and Sales teams
- Problem solve any issues quickly and independently
- Working directly with preferred suppliers where required
**We think you will need**:
- Experience in sales or a similar environment
- Experience within the events, catering or hospitality industry will benefit but is not essential
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to multitask whilst coordinating concurrent events and initiatives
- Commercial mindset with the drive to work in sales and the self-motivation to be proactive
- Networking and relationship building skills
- Ability to work under pressure and problem solve quickly and independently
- A desire to provide exceptional customer service experiences, with high attention to detail
- A people person - feel energised by liaising with a wide variety of people

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
