Slalom is a purpose-driven consulting company focused on strategy, technology, and business transformation. Founded in 2001, we had a simple goal - build a company where people love their work and love their life. As we continue to grow in Australia, we have a responsibility and opportunity to do good in the world. We’re committed to building our business in ways that are sustainable and responsible, while creating innovative solutions to the world’s biggest challenges. We have bold aspirations for the future and together with our people, partners, and customers, we take measurable actions for today.
**The Business Advisory Services (BAS) Practice**
Our Business Advisory Services practice help organizations of all kinds redefine what’s possible, give shape to the future—and get there. We focus on high-impact projects, meeting our clients where they are to uncover business needs and deliver results. Our teams go beyond the expected to help clients move confidently through ambiguity and risk and drive more transformative outcomes.
**The role**
We are looking for an **experienced consultant with expertise in process excellence, process design** and **operating model design** across multiple industries. This professional will be an integral part of the practice to make a positive impact and driving complex solutions.
**What You’ll Bring**
- 10 plus years of experience in a consulting organization with the ability to enable results through others in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated and passionate, with a lean mindset, leading change while coaching people in continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong expertise in process excellence, process design and operating model design
- Experience in business processes mapping down to level 3 capturing inputs, outputs, and system/data requirements
- Familiarity with translation of process design, into formal system requirements that can be socialized with solution providers
- Communicate professionally, clearly, and effectively to target audiences
- Proactively seek information, challenge norms, and solve problems
- Strong experience in client-facing and stakeholder management
- Build trusting and collaborative relationships with your Slalom team and clients
**Our Values**
Our culture and values reflect each individual Slalomer. We are dedicated to encouraging workplace diversity and ensuring all our people, from any background can contribute to their full potential. We wish to build a team that echoes the diversity of the communities we serve, and our values are an active part of our everyday, guiding our decisions.
**What keeps us here?**
When we moved to Australia in 2020, we had no idea just how important our work/life balance would need to be. We’ve asked our consultants what makes Slalom a great place to work and the most common answer - “the freedom to be ourselves when life gets in the way”. We make a big effort to bring everyone together and allow space when space is needed. We believe in helping each other thrive in work and life and are proud to invest in benefits that include holistic wellbeing, meaningful allowances, and investment in our team’s professional, technical, and personal growth.
- Slalom is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes all qualified applicants. Slalom does not discriminate on grounds of race, religion, or belief, ethnic or national origin, disability, age, marital, domestic, or civil partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other basis as protected by applicable law._
