**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our business as we continue to expand and deliver high quality expert product advice to our customers in Melbourne.

We are expanding our business and are currently looking for a Showroom Sales Administrator to work in our showroom based in Dandnong.

As part of the role, you will assist both our valued trade and retail customers, demonstrating a high level of product knowledge, providing expert advice and showing dedication and commitment in delivering high quality customer service.

This is a full-time position Monday - Friday 9am - 4:30pm (with weekend work required - Saturday 10am - 3.30pm).

**The Role**:

- Interpret and process sales orders in an accurate and timely manner
- Resolve order queries
- Customer relationship development
- Accept incoming calls and actively promote our products
- Process written and verbal orders
- Deal with a variety of different queries from customers / suppliers
- Ensure all orders are entered on the correct account code
- Check stock availability on all items input into the system
- Advise trade customers if any items are out of stock providing approximate delivery date if known
- Issue an order acknowledgment for each order processed
- Show potential customers around the showroom
- Agree the margin report - checking for pricing errors
- Process trade counter sales
- Provide cover to other departments undertaking all related duties
- Process collection requests within company policy
- Attend and take an active part in departmental meetings, making a positive contribution where possible
- Act as an ambassador for the company when meeting customers / suppliers and create an excellent impression

- An ability to prioritise and manage expectations
- A keen eye for detail
- An ability to work independently or within a team
- The ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with either clients & colleagues.
- High experience in Excel, Word, Xero or similar accounting systems
