**Who are we looking for?**

We're looking for a Mechanical Engineering Design Manager to join our Energy & Resources Team, with a particular focus on the Resources industry. You’ll be a technically accomplished and client-focused leader who thrives in a collaborative environment. With a passion for delivering high-quality design solutions, you’ll bring strategic insight, strong project delivery skills, and a commitment to mentoring the next generation of engineers.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Acting as a technical authority, providing design direction, quality control, and safety reviews for multidisciplinary projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborating with project directors and managers to ensure delivery milestones are met.
- Supporting business development through proposal preparation and client engagement.
- Execute duties as a design manager and/or lead mechanical engineer across multidisciplinary projects.
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to our positive team culture while fostering team growth.

**What would you bring to the team?**
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, coupled with over 10 years of experience in design and project delivery ideally in a consulting environment.
- Proven leadership in managing engineering teams and complex project scopes.
- Experience across the broader resources sector, including mining in general, and green or brown infrastructure projects.
- Strong client-facing skills and a track record of building lasting relationships.
- Deep knowledge of industry standards, procurement, and safety in design.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to mentoring and knowledge sharing.
