PET DOOR INSERT ASSEMBLER, PRODUCTION technician

Patio link is an Australian family business 22 years strong. We are known for producing the original and best quality Pet door inserts for sliding doors in Australia.
We are seeking a new Assembler / production technician based in Gold Coast Australia (Varsity Lakes) to Join our Team full time Mon to Fri 8-4pm.
We are a dynamic, ever growing business with a strong work ethic, yet relaxed work environment and friendly team.

The role of Assembler / production technician involves making and assembling custom doors from scratch.
This involves working with metal and associated tools to produce door frames of various sizes and assembling all components including glass, whether strips etc.
We produce many custom doors in various sizes and colours

Various other tasks may also include organising daily transport pick ups, organising shipping documentation, preparing stocktake and assistance compiling new orders for raw materials.

Occasionally you would also be required to facilitate walk in sales and operate eftpos facilities.

Experience in a similar role and a proficiency in working with tools is required with further on the job training provided.

The ability to problem solve and think outside the box is highly sought after for this role as we are often presented with many customers with varying requirements.
Those with an understanding and willingness to adopt and demonstrate safety in the work place will be given priority.

Preference will be given to local applicants and that have own transport and those who enjoy physical work with tools and wanting to Join Patio Link for the long Term.
You must have excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing and communication skills)

The selected applicant will be remunerated with above award wage and will depend greatly on the skillset you bring to the role and what tasks you're ultimately capable of.

Successful applicant will be employed on an initial 3 month trial basis (paid) with a further view to progress.
