Client Relationship Manager - Financial Services

**Your new company**
Australia and New Zealand’s largest life insurer focusing on the acquisition and management of in-force life insurance policies. The company is providing existing customers with life insurance, super and investments.

**Your new role**
Strategically manage group plan relationships and retention to minimise lapse of profitable plans. Management of customer strategy and design for an allocated portfolio of corporates and/or Business Partners to enhance profitability.
- Review insurance related disclosure document content and other communication materials specific to group insurance products.
- Proactive engagement and relationship building with key stakeholders and business partners to retain profitable group plans.
- Continually review and adapt insurance designs to meet customer, planner, key stakeholder and business partner needs in consultation with product, pricing, administration, business partnerships and underwriting, plus any other relevant business area.
- Identify and, where possible, implement actions to address deteriorating experience for key clients that are likely to negatively impact profit of the customer portfolio.
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely records using appropriate systems.
- Coordinate key customer activities for allocated portfolio, including insurance quotes, rerates and plan redesign initiatives.
- Manage, co-ordinate and deliver re-tender requests for Group Insurance Plans.
- Collaborate with team and participate as an effective team member.

**What you'll need to succeed**
We are seeking an individual with previous experience in Relationship management, who is confident and comfortable engaging with both our customers and internal stakeholders. Prior experience of working within insurance (Life), superannuation, or an advice environment would be preferred but is not essential as full training will be provided.
- Relationship Management experience and skills ideally in group insurance, corporate superannuation or advice.
- Ability to manage a broad range of stakeholders - both internal and external
- Good understanding of the product range and supporting systems in relation to group insurance.
- Sound technical, competitor and industry knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Strong commercial/ financial understanding
- Ability to maintain, understand and interpret data
- Ability to prepare accurate reporting
