ALG is currently seeking an experienced IT Integration and Transformation Specialist on a contract basis to join our aviation client located at the Brisbane Airport. Our client is a prominent player in the aviation sector, committed to innovation and operational excellence.

We are looking for an IT Integration and Transformation Specialist to lead the integration and transformation of critical aviation maintenance systems. As a contractor, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing strategies to enhance system integration, efficiency, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the transformation of key aviation maintenance processes, such as Heavy Maintenance Production Planning, to optimize efficiency and visibility.
- Implement tools and methodologies to identify critical paths in maintenance operations, ensuring streamlined processes.
- Develop and implement performance measurement tools, like balanced scorecards, to enhance maintenance process oversight.
- Drive the adoption of innovative solutions, such as mobile workstations, to improve task tracking and signoff processes.
- Lead the development of a business case for evaluating alternate IT Airline Maintenance systems, aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition of IT systems in line with corporate strategies.
- Participate in secondment opportunities, contributing to operational changes within diverse aviation environments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, or related fields. Advanced degrees are advantageous.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT integration and transformation projects.
- Familiarity with aviation maintenance processes, systems, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and relevant tools.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to working across teams.
- Previous experience in evaluating and implementing IT systems for maintenance operations is a plus.
