**Job Description** We are looking for a Financial Systems Analyst to join our Finance, Data and Strategic Initiatives function, to **support the delivery of key initiatives as part of the on-going development of the finance function and help to maintain the operating effectiveness of assigned finance systems and reports to ensure they are fit for purpose.**

**What is this role about?**

In this newly created role, you will work within a dynamic finance team at the forefront of driving change, uplifting and integrating finance systems to facilitate robust and reliable insight and analysis. support the development and maintenance of a robust control environment over finance systems and associated processes.

**Here's more of what you’ll work on**:

- Support the enhancement and maintenance of a robust control environment over finance systems and associated processes with a focus on simplification, standardisation and automation.
- Perform Finance System administration activities for allocated Finance Systems.
- Maintain accurate records of Finance systems and configurations, as well as related policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Respond to audit queries on a timely basis.
- Participating in risk management awareness sessions and forums as required.

**Qualifications** What can you bring?**
- 5+ years financial and payroll systems maintenance / support.
- 5+ years’ experience in identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Advanced knowledge and use of Excel, and intermediate use of Office.
- Advanced user of a General Ledger System.
- Basic knowledge and experience in accounting and finance activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end, financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting etc.
- Risk and Data management.
- Although not required, any experience in the following would be highly regarded:_
- Finance and/or accounting.
- Project Management.
- Financial system implementation.
- Development and improvement of system-related processes.
- Systems testing.
- Developing user training and maintaining user guides.
