Gas Compressor Service Planner

**About the role**:

- Preparation of Service Works packs for scheduled interval services
- Preparation and maintenance of service schedules (planning)
- Ensuring procurement of parts, consumables and tooling is on time, traceable and complete
- Coordination of logistics
- Manage demand for Wasco’s Parts and Services Key customers by ensuring that all necessary support is provided to ensure a smooth service outcome in a timely manner
- Management of key OEM agency relationship and management of inventory and logistics of parts and service work

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating regular reports on service levels and requirements
- Performing regular follow-ups with clients to ensure on-going satisfaction
- Encourage reporting of all incidents, near misses, accidents and injuries to ensure that the appropriate documentation is completed and all reports events are investigated
- Raising purchase orders, keeping incoming stock and sourcing/evaluating supplier performance
- Assist in scheduling workshop activities to repair parts and equipment to maximise efficiency
- Responsible for sourcing additional materials/equipment when required
- Inventory/stock control including stocktake and valuations
- Assist with/ compile expressions of interest, quotes, and tenders as required
- Responsible for quoting of spare parts, re-conditioning and overhaul enquires
- Managing logistics for transport of parts and equipment
- Managing, developing and servicing OEM agency relationships
- Follow up on any purchasing queries and inventory analysis
- Following up and keeping track of invoices in a timely manner
- Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate all aspects of the service and after sales
- Assist in planning and coordinating work activities to ensure that all work is completed on time and accordance with schedule requirements and client customer expectations
- Identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors
- Manage inventory levels of purchased materials to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained while minimising costs
- Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain accurate records of all purchases made by the company
- Assist in impromptu duties as assigned

**Qualifications and skills required**:

- High Risk Licence (LF - Forklift)
- Trade qualification, secondary education
- A working understanding of the warehousing, manufacturing ad inventory management
- Good communication, organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A minimum of 5 years experience in Inventory, Purchase Management and/or Supplier Management
- Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills
- Experience with Waukesha, Caterpillar, Ariel, Frick equipment
