About the Role
- Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values, as outlined above.
- Ensure accurate scheduling of appointments (specialist clinics) by negotiating with patients, entering and updating data, reviewing and subsequently confirming bookings in a timely manner.
- Ensure the effective utilisation of information systems required to produce accounts from specialists' billing and generate receipts for payments by accurate input of data for processing.
- Provide accurate and timely input of data required by Medicare Australia by ensuring accurate information is processed from Medicare vouchers.
- Participate in the daily operational activities of the private practice clinics by acting in the patient reception and booking procedures.
