CNC Machine Programmer and Operator

Adelaide Region SA, Australia Territory Disability Services Full time

Day-to-day responsibilities and work type will be:

- Machining and trimming
- Running CNC and edge bander
- Machine maintenance, Tool changing/ Calibrating.
- Reading and understanding technical drawings
- Be willing to help in other aspects of cabinet making if needed.
- Building joinery/ Willingness to learn.

About You:

- Experience in operating CNC machines, panel saws, edge benders, along with other power/hand tools.
- Forklift License - highly desirable
- Able to follow health and safety rules and can work accurately
- Able to follow technical instructions closely, and be a team player.
- Preferably have a trade qualification in cabinet making/joinery
- You should be able to read architectural drawings and have the ability to work to deadlines and work unsupervised.
- Good problem solver
- Commitment to attention to detail, excellent customer service as well as being on time and being well-presented.
- You are a team player and understand the importance of communication.

**Summary of role requirements**:

- 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Adelaide Region SA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
