Due to consistent growth generally across our business and due to the purchase of a new ECOCA MT CNC MACHINE, we are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our high performing team in Gillman SA 5013.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Load the job into the machine and programme the cut.
  • Read and interperate job specifications and technical drawings
  • Operate heavy machinery, hand tools and lifting equipment
  • Maintain equipment, tools and a neat work area
  • Direct trades assistants where required
  • Converse with customers when required

About You

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Relevant trade qualification (CNC Machining)
  • High Knowledge of CNC programming and operations
  • Ability to manufacture components and prepare / plan for jobs
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Valid drivers licence and forklift lic
  • Good listening skills are required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
