Diplomatik currently have several permanent positions based in Kenwick for **Heavy Diesel Mechanics and Component Fitters** for workshop positions. These are ongoing casual positions with immediate starts available and will be working on large OEM underground mining machinery.

**Duties of this role**: (but not limited to)
- Full machine rebuilds
- Component change outs
- Diagnosing faults
- Inspecting and preparing components ready for sale
- Stripping/wrecking machines
- Additionally, you will be required to maintain safe work practices and a safe work environment

**Essential Experience**
- Previous experience in working in a similar environment and a minimum of 2 years continuous experience as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic or mechanical fitter
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the design & function of OEM mining equipment - Underground and surface drill rigs, underground loaders, rock breaking equipment
- A demonstrated commitment to safety with the ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of Quality Control

Applicants must be Trade Qualified however will consider applicants who have Light Vehicle qualifications and experience in heavy component fit outs. Due to location, applicants should be located within Perth Metro area.
