**Shore Preparatory School is a leading Anglican School consisting of an Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 campus at Northbridge and a Years 3 to 6 campus at North Sydney. The Preparatory School emphasises excellence in academic, cultural and co-curricular pursuits, within a nurturing Christian environment.**

Our Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Certificate III Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team in the delivery of our centre’s education and care programmes.

Our team are committed to building genuine, supportive, and effective child-educator relationships and work closely to ensure a level of excellence is provided for children in our care.

Shore’s Early Learning Centre is part of the Preparatory School, located on the Northbridge campus, and offers an extended hours Kindergarten for children aged 3-5 years. Operating from 8.00am - 6.00pm, 48 weeks of the school year, our team members work eight hour shifts as rostered across the centre’s opening hours.

**To be successful, you will have**:

- An ACECQA approved education and care qualification equivalent to Certificate 3 level or above;
- An ACECQA recognised Child Protection qualification;
- Emergency first aid response in an education and care setting qualifications or First Aid Certificate (combined with Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management training) Statement of Attainment (up to date);
- Valid Working with Children Check;
- Commitment to high quality pedagogy and educational practice;
- Demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Framework;
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within an accredited centre;
- Prior experience and demonstrated capability in all aspects of planning and programming for individuals and groups of children (aged 3-5 years);
- A working understanding of the cycle of planning for children in an early childhood educational setting;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a demonstrated ability to engage with children, parents / guardians and other staff;
- Experience using digital early learning platforms (or wiling to learn) and
- An approachable, enthusiastic and team orientated attitude.
