**Company Description**
As the flagship hotel for the Mercure brand within Australia we invite you to belong to something bigger. We are a big hotel, looking for some big talent With 517 refurbished rooms, 10 conference rooms, and multiple food and beverage outlets - including Platform 818 which is on the look-out for **Part Time Food and Beverage Attendants** to join the breakfast team as **Buffet Runners**.

During your shifts from 6am-12pm, you will be primarily responsible for assisting the breakfast team with setting up, organising, re-stocking and closing down our beautiful buffet offering to guests

Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

- Providing exceptional guest service at all times
- Maintain standards of hygiene for any food handling and presentation
- Up keep knowledge of outlet and offerings
- Ensuring both guest and work areas are cleaned and stocked
- Assist with drink service, food service and opening/closing the venue
- Liaise with F&B colleagues and with other departments in the hotel to ensure good communication

**Qualifications**
As the **successful applicant**, you will have the following:

- Previous Experience is a Food and Beverage setting is an advantage
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Pride in grooming and presenting yourself well
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable to work autonomously and also a team player
- Strong attention to detail
