Reporting to the Fleet Systems Team Leader, your role will be accountable for accurately processing, monitoring, recording and tracking airworthiness records to support our Engineering and Maintenance Operations for Virgin Australia Regional Airlines. You will also support the Technical Library, as required, in registering and distributing documents.

**What you will be doing**:

- Quality checking of completed maintenance documentation to ensure certification conforms to regulatory and company requirements
- Ensure the timely and accurate update of the Maintenance Information System upon receipt of maintenance documentation from approved maintenance organisations
- Ensure component log-books and hard copy records are updated, archived and stored in accordance with the relevant procedures
- Loading of data for new aircraft in the Maintenance Information System
- Feedback to OEM on ICA compliance
- Conduct Maintenance Information System audits to ensure data integrity
- Update “external” systems with information provided on the Continuing Airworthiness Records, as required
- Assist with Technical Records related queries, as and when required
- Support the Maintenance Planning team as and when required

**What you need to be successful**:

- Demonstrated experience in using a Maintenance Information System
- Extensive experience in quality checking of documents
- Naturally someone who takes pride in their organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability work with a diverse stakeholder group and communicate effectively
- Preferably 2+ years working in a Technical Records environment within aviation
