**The Opportunity**

Working with a dynamic Internal Communications Team, your main responsibilities are simple - live our ways of working and values, and engage our Team of 10,500 by creating and implementing content that brings to life the BWS brand, culture and strategy through awesome and unboring internal communications.

It will also involve:

- Managing the flow of all internal communication while prioritising timeliness, accuracy and tone of voice to bring our purpose, values and ways of working to life.
- Managing store communications to our network of over 1400 stores across Australia.
- Enabling our Teams with communications that are clear, concise and purposeful.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and drive communications plans for activities, initiatives and events, including product launches, seasonal events, brand campaigns, promotional activity and new policies and procedures.
- Partnering primarily with our Operations Team to challenge and improve communications for our Team Members, leveraging comms analytics and insights.
- Utilising various communication methods, including newsletters, digital content, video, town halls, presentations and decks to reach and engage Team Members.
- Content management of our intranet.
- Design and creation of visual communications content, including presentations and digital and video collateral.

You’ll have prior experience in internal communications and meticulous attention to detail.

You’ll also have:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Proven success in utilising a collaborative approach to work, consistently thinking outside the box.
- Strong computer literacy skills.
- Content writing experience for all media platforms.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders in a matrix environment.
- Be known for having a strong, positive personal brand that is customer-centric.
- Have the ability to articulate solutions and influence.
- Demonstrated critical thinking abilities with a strategic and creative mindset.
- Availability to be ‘on-call’ outside standard hours as this role sometimes will require a quick response/solution to be provided.

Highly Desirable:

- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism, PR, or a related field.
- Proficiency with creative design platforms (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Proficiency with Google Suite.
- Proficiency with Adobe Experience Manager.
- Experience supporting or working in Retail Operations Teams.
