Under the **Telstra Field Operations (TFO) contract**, Downer will provide services including network asset relocations (ARCW), wideband business services (WB), facilities design and construction activities including Tele-power and building upgrades; and a continuation of the 5G mobile rollout. These activities will be delivered across New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and the Northern Territory.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are currently seeking a **Supervisor **to be based out of our **North Ryde, NSW project office**. This is a **field-based** role in a fast paced, high pressure environment which will see you responsible for supervising our construction partners, ensuring delivery of end to end asset relocation projects and tickets of work are on-time and to schedule as well as monitoring quality and delivery of works. Previous experience in a similar role combined with a collaborative leadership style will ensure your success in this position.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Proven experience as a Supervisor within the telecommunications & civil construction industry
- Experience with Telstra Wideband and ARCW is preferred however NBN experience is also advantageous
- Strong understanding of the telecommunications Pit & Pipe network and Fibre Optics networks
- Ability to work in large project delivery of asset relocation (scoping/estimating/supervising) but also Ticket of Work environment with constantly changing and competing priorities along with an in depth understanding of cost variations and schedule of rates
- Prior experience with field/scoping requirements, including conducting exchange and street communications network surveys and customer end surveys
- Effective leadership of construction partners with an uncompromising commitment to safety;
dedicated to ensuring compliance at all times to site Safety and Environmental Management plans in consultation with the safety team to achieve "Zero Harm"
- Ability to activate dig permits and ensure all due diligence has been followed with Construction Partners
- Effective verbal and written skills including producing reports and paperwork on construction activities including prestart and quality checks.
- Proficient in MS suite, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint
