With a focus on risk management, you'll provide practical advice and innovative solutions, ensuring the utmost safety for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with managers to report and investigate incidents, identifying root causes.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and propose corrective actions.
- Offer expert advice on OH&S policies, processes, and procedures to staff.
- Deliver comprehensive safety training programs, empowering employees, and managers with hazard management skills.
- Support health and safety committees and representatives
- Analyse safety data to identify key issues related to incidents, injuries, and wellbeing.
We're looking for someone who:
- Possesses outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, capable of working collaboratively with stakeholders to manage risk effectively and foster a proactive safety culture.
- Demonstrates experience in the health and safety field, with particular emphasis on aged care, community care, or health sectors.
- Exhibits in-depth knowledge of work health and safety legislation, relevant standards, and codes of practice.
- Is willing to travel to various sites and occasionally interstate.
