**About the role**

The Data Analyst is a national position supporting Wesfarmers Health’s sustainability initiatives. The Data Analyst is responsible for the stewardship of sustainability data and providing insights to improve sustainability performance through data analysis.

This role is focused on creating the systems and processes to produce accurate and high-quality sustainability data across domains such as carbon & energy, ethical sourcing, environmental, community investment, and circularity, plastics & packaging.

**The responsibilities for this role include**:
**Data Governance
- Managing sustainability data governance for Wesfarmers Health including the control, documentation, and maintenance of reporting documents and ensuring accurate, reliable, and compliant data for informed decision-making and transparent reporting.

**Database Management & Reporting
- Manage the collection of data, interpretation and analysis of data, deriving insights and recommending sustainable business initiatives. Taking the lead in any systems implementation/integration initiatives relating to sustainability data. Understand reporting requirements and design databases and data collection to satisfy reporting requirements. Contributing to regular management, business compliance and statutory reporting, including monthly and annual reporting.

**Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships and oversee external auditors and consultants responsible for data collection. Liaise with Wesfarmers on the development of emerging reporting areas such as circularity metrics and nature based reporting (TNFD), contribute to regular management, business compliance and statutory reporting to Wesfarmers, including monthly and annual reporting.

**Carbon and energy reporting
- Has ownership of Wesfarmers Health’s emissions reporting, data quality and control. Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Finance and Procurement to understand the availability and verification of data and with external energy and utility providers to access source data for reporting.

**About the Role**:
- Previous experience in Data collection and reporting of National Greenhouse Energy Reporting (NGER) and ethical sourcing audit programs highly regarded
- Systems implementation experience
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to bring life to strategy through reporting
- Attention to detail with an emphasis on achieving deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to develop and influence others through excellent verbal and written communication to achieve key objectives
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
- Experience in professional services will be highly regarded

**Education/Qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification in commerce/business, data science or environment
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial, accounting and finance, analytics and reporting role
