**Introduction**:
Regis Resources is an ASX-listed Perth based gold production and exploration company with a proven management team and a successful track record of developing mid-sized gold operations. Regis is a purely Australian gold miner with operations in Western Australia and New South Wales.

The current mine site locations are in the WA Goldfields region with multiple mining operations (both open pit and underground) as well as a number of satellite pits. This is an opportunity to join a high performing team, working collaboratively towards a future production profile of up to half a million oz. of gold annually.

**Description**:
The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Commercial Manager is responsible for providing financial and commercial analyses and advice, conduct commercial negotiations and assisting with asset acquisition, maintenance & disposal and insurance requirements. Whilst there are no direct reports, the role will work closely with a variety of internal functions including legal, finance, purchasing & logistics and associated contract personnel.

This role is based in our well-appointed Subiaco corporate offices and will require regular visits to site.

About the Role

Providing analytical and commercially astute, financial and commercial analysis to assist with the effective decision making, business development, operations, and contracts;
Being a significant contributor to project evaluation;
Maintaining a group-wide contract register;
Negotiating contracts and terms, identifying ways to maximise the company’s position within existing commercial agreements;
Working collaboratively with supply and logistics to maximise the values of assets;
Working collaboratively with Finance and Operations at both site and corporate office;
Active contribution to wards process and systems development, including assisting with process/system improvements and roll-out of updates including providing training.
Delivering timely management reports and analyses; and
Determining and arranging the company’s insurance requirements.

**Skills and Experiences**:
About You

Exposure and conceptual understanding of contract law and pricing;
Ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis;
Strong commercial acumen and business understanding;
Ability to manage both internal and customer relationships;
Excellent leadership qualities but also team orientated with strong relationship and interpersonal skills;
Advanced negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management abilities;
Excellent numeracy, report writing, written and verbal communication skills;
Financial qualification e.g. Bachelor of Accounting, MBA or Bachelor of Commerce highly desirable; and
Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages.
