We are a small, results-driven digital media business on the Sunshine Coast, delivering content for businesses and brands to achieve their marketing goals. We specialise in social media, podcast, branding design, video content and content marketing strategies.

**ABOUT THIS JOB: Content Writer (hybrid or remote location options available)**

We are looking for a content writer specialising in digital content for websites and SEO. Our content is written with keywords and SEO in mind, often using SEO editor programs and following specific content briefs. A good knack for sales writing won’t go amiss in this role

The industries we write for often vary but usually include construction and building, medical and health, retail, e-commerce, commercial services, real-estate and digital media services.

We are looking for writers that are:

- University qualified (or studying) with a communications, business or marketing related degree
- Good with deadlines
- Passionate about their craft
- An eye for detail and proofreading
- Experienced in SEO, or has a basic understanding of it (but we can show you the ropes)
- Able to write to a detailed brief
- Ideally local to the Sunshine Coast

This role has flexible hours and can be done remotely, but we are ideally hoping to find someone who can join us in our Maroochydore office regularly, particularly for client and team meetings.

You would be joining a team of 4-5 copywriters and report to an editor who proofreads all our content orders. Our writers work independently on their projects, but have the collaborative support of the wider team.

Due to the type of workflow we encounter, we are looking for someone available on average for 12-18 hours a week, but there is the potential for workloads to grow as we've seen a steady increase in content writing work over the last 12 months.

As a creative business, there are also opportunities to grow into other areas such as account and project management, social media, photography and video if you have the right skills or experience. Some of our team enjoy working in multiple roles or on other projects, while others love to focus on just one area.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 18 per week
