Perpetual Group is an ASX-listed company (ASX:PPT) headquartered in Sydney, Australia, currently consisting of 11 leading brands across three distinct businesses: Asset Management, Wealth Management and Corporate Trust.
Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review in May 2024, it was announced that Perpetual Limited will become a standalone Asset Management business and has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) who will acquire the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.
About the role

As a Securitisation Manager, you will support the Trust Management team in providing precise, timely, and effective services to the Australian Securitisation market. Your responsibilities include ensuring the team meets its contractual obligations and maintains high service standards. You will also help the team achieve its goals by managing direct reports, overseeing projects, offering technical support and training to new starters and team members, and identifying and implementing process improvements.
About the Role
As a Securitisation Manager, you will:
- Oversee team operations alongside the Senior Securitisation Manager.- Provide support and assistance to the Head of Trust Management, including daily operations, resource management, team workload, and ad-hoc projects.- Reconcile and maintain Trust bank accounts.- Prepare and execute daily and weekly settlement requests.- Monitor and review daily, weekly, and monthly operations of the Trust Management Portfolio, ensuring all contractual obligations to transaction parties are met.- Assist the Head of Trust Management in delivering key projects and objectives.- Oversee risk management by maintaining a quality assurance and risk management framework consistent with policy.- Manage direct reports, including recruitment and performance reviews.- Support the team in handling sensitive client issues.- Assist with disaster recovery testing and planning.- Assist with quarterly internal risk management testing.- Handle client billing, aged debtors, and accruals.- Provide ad-hoc reporting to management as required.- Support the team in dealing with sensitive client issues.
About you
We’re looking for someone with:
- Relevant tertiary education (business / economics or finance degree)- Minimum of 5 years’ work experience within Securitisation with in-depth understanding of securitisation processes and structures- Strong leadership skills and, including recruitment, training, and performance management and ability to inspire, motivate, and guide team members towards achieving goals- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (modelling experience) including VBA, SQL (desirable)- Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, handle multiple issue at once and adhere to strict deadlines- Strong communication and presentation skills- Strong problem solving skills and technical mindset- Risk management focus.
