We currently have an opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team as **Operations Manager within our Transition to Work contract.**
**The Role - A Day in the Life of a Operations Manager**
As a Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing operations of an Employment Region (ER) to achieve the successful delivery of the Transition to Work (TtW) DEED. The role will also include managing staff and resources to achieve operational budgets and ETC’s agreed targets as set by the Department of Education, Skills & Employment (DESE).
**Your Key Responsibilities will include**:
- Develop, implement, monitor and maintain efficient and effective administrative systems to ensure compliance with the contracts is managed within an ER
- Assist the Regional Manager to develop and implement strategies and generate partnerships to enhance employment and education opportunities for TtW clients within an ER
- Monitoring and achieving KPI’s and financial budgets
- Strong performance management of staff and implementing plans for underperforming staff
- Manage adequate operational staffing levels at all times whilst balancing effective leave liability
- Ensure that procedures are managed in accordance with organisational policy and that the delivery of the TtW contract within the region is managed in accordance with contractual requirements
- Ensure behaviours align with ETC’s core values and strive for continuous improvement
**Criteria for Success**
- Demonstrated operational management experience within Employment Services or youth related sectors
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage contracts to achieve business outcomes
- Demonstrated innovation and initiative skills in problem solving and achieving objectives
- Highly developed communication skills (interpersonal, liaison, negotiating) with individuals and groups
- A passion for helping others
- A current, clear National Police Check
- A current Working With Children Check / QLD Blue Card
