**What You Will Be Doing**

The Peninsula Health Family Violence Team Leader will provide leadership to a team of specialist Family Violence Practitioners who receive and manage all family violence referrals for men and their families ( Mens Behaviour Change Program), and adolescents (Keep Families Safe Program - Adolescent Violence within the Home). Both Programs include the delivery of client screening, risk assessment, case management, service planning, targeted interventions (group and individual), allocation and coordination of referrals in collaboration with the senior clinicians.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- A relevant graduate qualification in Social Work or Psychology
- Eligibility for full membership of either the AASW or APS
- For Psychologists: 10 years of clinical experience as a registered Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of providing competency based Board approved supervision
- Substantial relevant experience in the Family Violence sector that demonstrates the Core Competencies, Attributes and Capabilities
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practice for working with men who use family violence
- Demonstrated ability to think broadly and holistically in relation to service interventions and responses
- Excellent interpersonal /communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and effectively in all professional relationships.
- Demonstrated well-developed organisational and administrative skills, including ability to effectively manage time and competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as an effective a team member
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement and up to date, evidence-based professional practice
