**Customer Service Officer - Fitness Centre (Full Time)**:
At UQ Sport, it’s our vision to be Australia’s number one sporting university and our mission to deliver exceptional sporting opportunities for The University of Queensland (UQ) Community. We’re Queensland’s largest multi-sport facility and have Athletics, Aquatic, Tennis and Fitness Centres, as well as grass and synthetic playing fields, indoor and outdoor multi-sport courts, function spaces and retail outlets. Our membership base spans over 4,000 customers, with a further 7,000 people actively involved across UQ’s 35+ sporting clubs.

**ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY**:
**MUST BE AVAILABLE**:

- **Monday - Thursday 5:15am - 1:15pm**:

- **Friday 5:15am - 10:15am**

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is highly motivated, outgoing and energetic with exellent communicaiton skills.

**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL**:

- Responsible for fitness centre opening procedures, plus presentation and cleaning of the venue and facilities
- Point of sale duties for the shop including cash handling
- Selling and restocking retial products
- Equipment setup and pack down as required.
- Assisting with some basic administration duties.

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL HAVE**:

- First Aid certificate
- CPR certificate
- Previous experience in Customer Service environment desirable
- Computer literate - previous experience with membership sales/cash handling/POS systems highly regarded
