**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough inspections of fresh fruits and vegetables to ensure compliance with quality standards for distribution to hotels, motels, restaurants, cafes, aged care facilities, and households.
- Monitor and maintain the freshness and hygiene standards of produce sourced from wholesale markets during handling, storage, and transportation.
- Conduct quality control checks during packing and loading for deliveries, including home deliveries.
- Perform detailed assessments of produce characteristics, such as size, ripeness, color, and texture, to meet customer expectations for quality.
- Providing guidance to fruit and vegetable suppliers on the economic impact of disease management while educating both suppliers and the public on the health risks associated with contaminants and produce-related illnesses.
- Document inspection findings and recommend improvements to enhance quality control practices.
- Perform daily equipment checks to ensure proper functioning, identify potential issues, and maintain safety and efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers and the logistics team to maintain high-quality supply chain standards.
- Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution while maintaining the brand’s reputation for care and quality.
- Provide feedback and improvement suggestions to enhance handling and storage practices
- Ensuring compliance with regulations for grading, packing, and loading to maintain quality and safety standards.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Primary Products Assurance Officer, preferably in the fresh produce or grocery industry with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services
- Advanced Diploma or Diploma in the related field is preferable.
- Strong attention to detail and knowledge of industry regulations
- Ability to conduct inspections, testing, and compliance checks
- A commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality, care, and affordability for customers.
