**Where do you come into the picture?**

Due to the rapid expansion of our organization, we are looking for a Compliance Analyst to join the APAC Compliance team based in Sydney Australia. This is an ideal role for an individual with an interest in payment services compliance primarily Anti
- Money Laundering but also a wide array of other applicable regulatory obligations including but not limited to Payment Services regulations, Privacy, Consumer protection etc.

This position reports to the APAC Head of Compliance based in Sydney Australia and contributes to the collaborative mission and vision by assisting with the day-to-day management and integration of an effective compliance program

You will lead as well as contribute to key decisions made that will define the compliance landscape of NIUM that truly makes our business scalable as a platform.

You will be a role model, to the Compliance team as well as the rest of the organization, of what it means to have a compliance, risk & governance mindset. As a key member of the team, you would be required to undertake other duties consistent with the position from time to time as the Company may reasonably require.

**Requirements**:
As Compliance Analyst, your duties will include but not limited to:

- Perform the required daily tasks - reviewing reports, preparing necessary reports for APAC Head of Compliance, participates in projects as advised/assigned by APAC Head of Compliance;
- Responsible for the detection and prevention of financial crime including fraud, money laundering, and terrorist financing
- Attend, complete the required processes quality assurance
- Assist and support the regulatory compliance team with internal projects, audits, reviews as may be required
- Assist in the development and ongoing improvement of policies and procedures
- Scope for providing assistance and support to the other applicable NIUM APAC licensed entities as may be required

What expertise & experiences would you need to have to play this kind of role?
- Work experience in Compliance AML/CTF in financial services or payment services industry is an advantage
- Should have a good understanding of the financial services environment and the associated regulations
- Good communication skills and a professional manner
- Good logical working style and good attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines
- Has an ambition to progress their exposure, experience and career
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as to accomplish tasks with mínimal supervision within tight deadlines
