We are seeking a dedicated friendly Food Services Assistant with Aged Care experience to join our close knit team at Doutta Galla Yarraville Village.

The shifts you will work on a permanent basis will be:
Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat 1400-1930 both weeks.

Our Yarraville Village Aged Care Home is a short walk from Yarraville Gardens and the busy village centre.

**About the role**:
As a Food Services Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high quality hospitality service and catering support to our residents. As part of the role you will be predominantly:

- Assisting with meal preparation and presentation
- Delivery and serving of resident meals
- Cleaning of kitchens, dining rooms and other food areas

**What you will bring**:

- Experience in an Aged Care kitchen environment and food services
- A passion for providing quality, relationship based individual service
- Current Food Handling/Food Safety Certificate
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Food Safety regulations, guidelines, standards and relevant legislation
- Knowledge of OH&S and infection control specific to catering
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and as part of a team
- Effective and positive communication skills
- Excellent time management is essential
