The Opportunity

Yarraville-Footscray Bowling Club Inc' is seeking a qualified and experienced Part-Time Chef to join our passionate culinary team. As a part-time role based in Yarraville, VIC 3013, this position offers flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes for our members and guests
  • Ensure all kitchen operations adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu items
  • Maintain a clean and well-organised kitchen environment
  • Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a positive team culture

What We're Looking For

  • Formal qualification in Commercial Cooking or Culinary Arts
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a chef in a similar hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
