Cobb Lane is an artisan bakery & patisserie located in Yarraville, in Melbourne’s inner-West. Cobb Lane has established a reputation as one of Melbourne’s leading artisan bakeries, providing premium baked goods to the city’s most renowned venues.

We are expanding and have an exciting opportunity for Bakery Assistants to join our evening shift team at our Yarraville Bakery.

**Your Experience**:
It is preferred that you have at least one year of experience with picking and packing, food handling and cleaning and be able to demonstrate skills in the following areas:

- Safe food handling
- Picking and packing
- Quality control
- Numeracy
- Written and verbal communication
- Sanitation and cleaning
- Time management

**Job Duties**:

- Assisting with decorating/finishing pastries and preparing bread for packing.
- Identifying and retrieving the correct baked goods based on customer orders.
- Ensuring the products meet our high-quality expectations.
- Packing the baked goods carefully, meticulously and efficiently for delivery.
- Reporting quality control or fulfilment issues to the supervisor or management.
- Thoroughly and efficiently cleaning and organising the kitchen space, bakery machinery, utensils and equipment in line with hygiene regulations.
- Ensuring that the bakery is packed down and left in a clean and safe manner at the end of the day.

**What is on offer**:

- Full time, Part time and Casual shifts available
- 7-day operation (including weekdays and weekends)
- From 2 up to 5 shifts per week
- A variety of shift options available. For example, start times can be from 3pm, 5pm or 6pm and the finish time is between 11pm - 12am; depending on days & availability.
- $26 per hour + superannuation & leave entitlements for Full time and Part time positions

**How to apply**:

Part-time hours: 12 - 30 per week

**Salary**: $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
