About us
Funds in Court (FIC) is a self-funded division of the Supreme Court of Victoria, managing funds paid into Court, primarily for people under a legal disability (beneficiaries). All funds are held, invested and administered by the Associate Judge of the Court who is the Senior Master. FIC provides support and services for over 6,000 beneficiaries.
The Beneficiary Services Area of FIC provides advice and support services to the Senior Master, the Judicial Registrar and Office staff concerning the administration of funds for beneficiaries.
About the role
As an Administrative Officer in Beneficiary Services, you will provide administrative support for the Area. The main purpose of the role is to provide quality customer service, project and operational support for the effective administration of funds paid into Court for beneficiaries.
With a keen eye for detail and a high level of energy and initiative, yours is an important role for the smooth operation of the Area.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process new files and accurately update information in the Office database
- Undertake and coordinate projects with mínimal supervision
- Assist with general administrative tasks
- Provide accurate and timely responses to enquiries and concerns
- Prepare correspondence and other documentation, including Court Orders and Memoranda
- Support to the Client Liaison Team whose focus includes service provision to Victims of Crime.

- High level organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards people with a disability including but not limited to those with an intellectual disability, an acquired brain injury and/or mental illness, their families and carers that support them
- A friendly and professional manner
- A common sense approach to problem solving.
