**About the Team**

Our Systems Engineering team provides professional analytical support to our Projects to ensure we continue to deliver outstanding customer outcomes. This role is based at our state of the art manufacturing facility in Redbank, Ipswich - MILVEHCOE.

**About the Role**
- As a Requirements Manager you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

- Implement and maintain the Requirements Management processes across the engineering and development team of assigned projects including the use of DOORS software;
- Create and maintain requirements traceability links between the Contract System Specification, Sub System Specifications, and associated Verification activities;
- Track and report on the overall status of compliance against the original Contract Specification;
- Develop and maintain the Requirements Acceptance Management Plan (RAMP) if applicable and execute tasks and activities to that plan;
- Analyse the potential effects and influences of proposed changes to the Contract Specification Requirements;
- Maintain compliance status within DOORs of assigned requirements at system level, including update of associated risk management tracking tools;
- Generate specific Key Performance Indicators for allocated projects wrt requirements engineering such as requirements completeness and quality, system compliance, Technology Readiness Level (TRL), System Readiness Level (SRL) and reporting of status against Key Performance Indicators;
- Define, manage and maintain Interface Control Documents and performance requirements for system and sub-system designs;
- Train and guide staff in the correct use of DOORS and best practice for requirements engineering; and
- Other duties and responsibilities that may be required as determined with your manager from time to time.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Engineering field or related discipline that is recognised by The Institute of Engineers Australia;
- DOORS software key user experience;
- Solid understanding and knowledge of Requirements Management principles and processes and how to implement and maintain a requirements database on a complex program;
- Chartered, or equivalent professional status from a relevant institution (e.g. CPEng, RPEQ, NER);
- Previous Defence or Automotive industry experience in delivering complex platforms/systems;
- Working knowledge of ADF operations;
- Ability to travel interstate and internationally when required;
- Ability to work with information covered by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR); and
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
