**What you will be doing**:
The Material Requirements Planner (MRP) is responsible for planning and co-ordinating the cost effective and timely supply of aeronautical material supporting aircraft maintenance.

You will review forward maintenance forecasts which include task cards, Fleet

Engineering Support Requests (ESRs) and Commercial Agreements to
- Identify and co-ordinate timely and seamless supply of operator supplied materials to Virgin Australia’s vast network of global AMOs and MROs
- Identify, reduce/eliminate Supply Chain risks which negatively impact on return to service dates or maintenance deferrals
- Identify and develop corrective action plans to eliminate unnecessary work and expenditure
- Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives.
- From time to time provide “in check” Vendor performance and inventory management support and solutions which would require overseas travel as required by the operation

**What you need to be successful**:

- Exposure to Supply Chain disciplines which may include, Warehousing, Repair Cycle, Purchasing, Inventory Planning, Inventory Optimisation, Material Requirements Planning, Freight Management, Contract Management, Vendor Performance Management, Procurement or AOG desk experience
- Be a Super User with TRAX software system
- Experience in an Engineering and Maintenance Planning environments
- Worked in a project management environment
- Superior aeronautical product awareness and understanding
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
